Wayne spent 13 years with the National Guard and earned a degree in criminal investigation though was drawn to the ag industry – especially production technology – due to working at Hagie while in high school. As part of the team at Main Fertilizer, now Farmers Coop Association, Wayne sells seed, crop protection products, and cellular RTK, takes care of soil sampling, and works on Norax plus sets boom height sensors. He also sells, installs, and does start-up work with planter starter systems.
“This is something I enjoy doing,” Wayne remarked. “The entire time I’ve been in the ag world, there hasn’t been a day I don’t enjoy coming to work because there’s something new every day.”
As Farmers Coop Association, Wayne sees promise in the ability to grow as a company, keep up with larger competitors, and provide excellent service. “I really enjoy meeting and talking to new customers, taking care of everyone from the smallest to the biggest,” he stated. “I treat everybody the same and give everyone equal attention.”
Wayne and his wife, Jamie, live near Titonka. He has three stepdaughters: Jayda, Jaycee, and Jenna. When he’s not working Wayne drives a race car.
